How to Use Your Website
These two videos walk you through everything you need to know about navigating and managing your dealer website.
Video 1: The Front End
Watch: The Front End (9 min)Your Homepage Layout
- Your email address is displayed in the top left corner of the site.
- Your phone number is displayed in the top right corner.
- There are 4 scrolling banners at the top of the homepage that you can customize with messages.
- The Premier logo in the header serves as your home button — clicking it from any page takes you back to the homepage.
Navigation Menu
Your site’s main menu includes these pages:
- Guides — Information about building types, sizes, and options to help customers browse.
- Features & Options — Details on available upgrades, colors, and customizations.
- Contact — Your address, hours, phone number, and a contact form for customers.
- Inventory — Your current buildings in stock, with photos and pricing.
- Trailers — Trailer inventory, displayed separately from buildings.
- FAQ — Frequently asked questions about buying, renting, and delivery.
- Financing — RTO (Rent-to-Own) information and the pre-qualification form.
- Pricing Guide — A link to the full pricing guide so customers can see all available options.
Contact Info & Directions
- Your contact information appears at both the top and bottom of every page so customers can always reach you.
- The Contact page shows your address, hours of operation, and has an email contact form that sends directly to you.
- The Directions button opens your location in the customer’s map app — this is especially useful for mobile visitors.
Your Inventory Pages
- Each building in your inventory shows photos and pricing so customers can browse what you have available.
- Trailers are displayed on a separate page from buildings to keep things organized.
- Keep your inventory up to date. Remove sold buildings and add new ones as they arrive. Customers lose trust when they see inventory that’s no longer available.
The Get Pre-Qualified (RTO) Form
The RTO pre-qualification form is one of the most important features on your site. It appears in three places:
- The Financing page
- The Homepage
- Each individual inventory page (so customers can apply for a specific building)
Here’s how it works as a sales funnel:
- The form requires a phone number and email address from the customer, so you always get their contact info.
- When a customer submits the form, call them right away. Speed matters — the faster you follow up, the more likely you close the sale.
- The form can link to a specific building if the customer submits it from an inventory page, so you know exactly what they’re interested in.
- RTO forms are managed through WP Forms in your WordPress dashboard.
Using Your Site as a Sales Tool
- Share your Pricing Guide link with customers so they can see all available buildings and prices without needing to visit in person.
- Send customers to your inventory page to browse available buildings with photos and pricing from anywhere.
- Use your site for remote sales. Between the inventory photos, pricing guide, and the RTO form, customers can find what they want and start the financing process without ever stepping foot on your lot.

Scrolling Banners
Your site has 4 scrolling banners at the top of the homepage. Each banner has:
- A message you can customize (promotions, announcements, etc.).
- A color option for the banner background.
- An on/off toggle to show or hide individual banners.
The banners rotate through 4 positions on the homepage. After making your changes, click Save Changes to apply them.
Dealer Configuration
This is where you manage your core contact information:
- Phone number — The phone number displayed on your site.
- Email address — The email where you receive contact form submissions and leads.
- Name on RTO form — The dealer name that appears on RTO applications.
- RTO Application Link — The direct link to your RTO application.
Add New Product (5 Steps)
- Product Name — Give the building a clear, descriptive name (e.g., “10×16 Lofted Barn”). This is what customers see when browsing your inventory.
- Short Description — Go to Building Descriptions first, find the matching building type, and copy the description. Paste it into the Short Description box. You can add extra notes about the specific building (color, features, etc.). Do NOT paste it in the Product Description box.
- Pricing — Enter the price in the Regular Price field. Do not use the Sale Price field — if you want to run a sale, use the bulk price discounter tool instead.
- Categories — You must check the Premier Portable Buildings category, plus the appropriate sub-category for the building type. Without this, the building will not appear on your site. If listing a trailer, also check the Trailers category.
- Photos — Set a Product Image (this is the main thumbnail that shows in your inventory list) and add additional photos to the Product Gallery (these show when a customer clicks into the listing). You can upload photos directly from your phone.
When everything is filled in, click Publish to make the building live on your site.
List Products
The List Products page shows all your current inventory. From here you can:
- Quick Edit — Hover over any product and click “Quick Edit” to quickly change the price, title, or status without opening the full editor.
- Trash / Restore — Hover over a product and click “Trash” to remove it. If you trash something by accident, click the Trash tab at the top of the page to find it and click “Restore.”
- Marking as Sold — Use Quick Edit to change a building’s status to Sold. This keeps it visible on your site with a “Sold” label, which shows customers that you’re active and moving inventory.
