How to Add Inventory Photos
You can upload photos when adding or editing product listings. For photos on any other part of your site (homepage, pages, banners), contact us.
Product Image (Main Thumbnail)
Set the Main Photo for a Listing
This is the primary photo that appears on your inventory page.
- Open the product editor (Products → Add New, or edit an existing product).
- In the right sidebar, find Product Image.
- Click Set product image.
- Click Upload Files and select a photo from your computer or phone.
- Click Set product image to confirm.
Product Gallery (Additional Photos)
Add Extra Photos to a Listing
Gallery photos (interior shots, electrical, tags, etc.) show when a customer clicks into the listing.
- In the product editor, find Product Gallery in the right sidebar.
- Click Add product gallery images.
- Upload multiple photos at once from your computer or phone.
- Click Add to gallery to confirm.

Best Sizes and Formats
Recommended Size
- Inventory photos: At least 800 x 600 pixels
File Size
Keep files under 500KB each. Use a free tool like TinyPNG to compress photos before uploading.
File Names
Use descriptive names like new-10x16-lofted-barn-front.jpg instead of IMG_4821.jpg. This helps with search engines and makes photos easier to find in your media library.
Common Problems
My photo looks blurry
The original is probably too small and is being stretched. Make sure your photo is at least 800 x 600 pixels. Use the highest quality setting on your phone’s camera.
My photo is sideways or upside down
Open the photo on your computer and rotate it before uploading. Some phone photos have rotation data that WordPress doesn’t always read correctly.
I uploaded a photo but can’t find it
Go to Media → Library in your dashboard. Your most recent uploads appear first. If it’s not there, it may not have finished uploading — try again.
